Hosted FTP and Hosted Managed File Transfer
For complete flexibility we provide a fully hosted FTP Service, SaaS managed File Transfer service.
The service is aimed at the business market and offers a highly secure enterprise data transfer service which improves productivity and collaboration between employees, partners and customers.
We achieve this through enabling the quick, easy, and secure exchange of sensitive business data via encrypted messages and file transfers without the need for you to:
Purchase any software
Buy user licenses
Install client software
Manage encryption keys
Burden email systems with files
Allow email attachments through firewalls
The service boasts end-to-end encrypted transfer and storage of data and files and delivers powerful yet relevant reporting capabilities to meet your requirements. If security is the hidden benefit of the service, usability and flexibility is what our clients comment on most.
END USER EASE OF USE
The service takes in to account that end users are not necessarily technically minded. The services multi-protocol support means that employees, customers and partners can quickly, easily and safely exchange files of any size or type using regular Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, secure FTP SSL(FTPS/TLS) and SSH2 (SFTP/ SCP2) clients, plus all AS2 and AS3 clients.
In addition each client can have a fully branded interface or a vanilla solution or anything in between. We are led by our clients based on their preferences.
Each organisation that users our service has their own unique URL, users, permissions, logs, files, folders, branding and encrypted storage.
Security as a standard
The service has been designed from the beginning to provide secure, end-to-end encrypted exchange and storage of sensitive data in file, message, and Web form posting formats, using a wide variety of popular public standards and protocols
The security of the files handled by the service does not depend on the security, or lack thereof, of the Windows OS that it runs on.
By design the hosted SFTP service is not able to push files, which means it cannot be used to push malware into trusted networks if it is ever compromised.
“Least privilege” authorization is implemented providing peace of mind for our clients that users are tightly managed as to what they can and cannot do and what they can and cannot see.
MOVEit DMZ uses a separate file and folder/directory naming convention than that used by the underlying OS (another benefit of the virtual interface).
All files received by our hosted service are stored using AES encryption, so they cannot be read, and executables cannot be run, by untrusted parties.
Flexibility and ease of use
Data can be securely exchanged over encrypted connections using a wide variety of SSL and SSH-based secure FTP clients, as well as with the Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, and Safari Web browsers. Every computing environment and user level of expertise is catered for via simple GUIs or Command Line Interfaces.
Enables end-users to view and use the Web interface in French or Spanish.
Fully customisable interface
The service can be tailored to fit your corporate branding or provided as a ‘Vanilla’ Service.
